Synchronize and Clean the Axis<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Right-click on one of the axes \u2192 <strong>Synchronize Axis<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Right-click again \u2192 uncheck <strong>Show Header<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"356\" height=\"426\" src=\"https:\/\/sarahpallett.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/J5-Screenshot-2026-01-31-114915.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sarahpallett.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/J5-Screenshot-2026-01-31-114915.png 356w, https:\/\/sarahpallett.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/J5-Screenshot-2026-01-31-114915-251x300.png 251w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 356px) 100vw, 356px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>This keeps both bars perfectly aligned and removes unnecessary axis clutter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Formatting the Bars<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At this point, you\u2019ll have <strong>three Marks cards<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>All<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sales<\/strong> <em>(top bar)<\/em><em><br><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sales (Copy)<\/strong> <em>(bottom bar)<\/em><em><br><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ll use each Marks card intentionally to control the final look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Format the Top Bar (Labels Only)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The top bar exists only to display labels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the <strong>Sales<\/strong> Marks card:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Set <strong>Color<\/strong> to <strong>White<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove borders (no outlines)<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add <strong>Segment<\/strong> to <strong>Label<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add <strong>Sales<\/strong> to <strong>Label. <\/strong>Remember to format numbers. In this case we want $$ for Sales.
